We are now in the last stages of completing the refurbishment of the Tudor wing at Hampton Court Palace, to commemorate 500 years since Henry VIII's ascension to the English throne. Processional routes 1 & 2, and Council Chamber are now hung with our textiles. The furniture for the Great Hall and Watching Chamber are all in place. The last area for our attention is the King's canopy and cloth of estate. A stunning fabric in black and gold has been specially designed for this area and will be up and on show at the end of August 2009.
Following our long association with Historic Scotland as advisers on the refurnishing of the Royal apartments at Stirling Castle, we are delighted to announce our appointment as joinery contractors for the project. The design phase of the project will start immediately and installation is due to be completed at the end of 2010.
