Stuart Interiors put Finishing Touches to Henry VIII’s Tudor Wing at Hampton Court Palace

28th Jul 2009

Henry VIIIWe are now in the last stages of completing the refurbishment of the Tudor wing at Hampton Court Palace, to commemorate 500 years since Henry VIII's ascension to the English throne. Processional routes 1 & 2, and Council Chamber are now hung with our textiles. The furniture for the Great Hall and Watching Chamber are all in place. The last area for our attention is the King's canopy and cloth of estate. A stunning fabric in black and gold has been specially designed for this area and will be up and on show at the end of August 2009.
